We only collect what we need to run the app. This includes your email address and name (for account creation), location data when you explicitly enable it (for weather alerts, parking, and route features), and any load, expense, or business data you enter into the tools. We also collect basic usage data to keep the app running smoothly — things like crash reports and feature usage.

Location is used only when you allow it. We use it to show weather and road conditions along your route, find nearby parking, and power the driver chat feature. You can disable location at any time in your device settings — the app will still work, just without location-based features.

Only you and HaulKit can access your account data. We use a secure backend provider to store data and handle authentication. They process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. Our team may access your data only when necessary to fix a bug, respond to your support request, or investigate abuse.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are legally required to keep it longer. Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics.

We use minimal cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels for ad targeting.

You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time. To request a full data export or account deletion, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no online service is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and using a strong, unique password.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of HaulKit after changes means you accept the updated policy.
